Alternate Levels Month-by-Month
Alternating read-aloud and writing project levels is another way to accommodate a range of writing levels within the family.
Depending on your family's situation, folding all your children together into one program may simply not work. In this case, alternating months between levels is also a perfectly legitimate plan. Rather than buying the yearlong Dart, Arrow, or Boomerang subscription, choose your titles from the Literature Singles page, alternating months for each level. Similarly, alternate writing project levels month-by-month, working with one child one month, the other the next. You can be sure, your children will receive enough language arts instruction!
